Question: Where does my mind go? What is actually happening to me during this time?

God’s answer:

You are peering up above.
You get a glimpse of heaven. It is peaceful up here.

Question: I still don’t understand why I don’t remember a thing.

God’s answer:

absent-minded
You can’t remember. You were not there. You’ve taken a leave of your senses.

Question: Why is it that when people talk of ecstasy or nirvana, they actually feel the feelings you describe (joy, peace, etc.)?

God’s answer:

There are three reasons that God gave:

  1. The rate of ascent: The “elevated feelings” come about during a slow ascent. In my case, as God explained:

    Split second
    You don’t have time to relish the experience

  2. How high a person goes:

    Simultaneous reaction
    They are on a much shorter leash. They don’t go far. They stay aloft but they never get beyond the clouds.

  3. Ecstasy and rapture are treated as one and the same experience. They are not. What rapture is will be explained later.

Question: What is the difference between ecstasy and being in a trance? In both cases, one feels sleepy or falls asleep?

God’s answer:

Trance
You are not dreaming. You are wide awake.
Ecstasy
Your mind is gone.

Meaning: In a state of trance, you have no thoughts but your sense of physical consciousness is intact – you are still aware of your self – your mind is just
